Since 1997, La Escuela del Tango offers a class for children and pre-teens so that they may discover the world of dance, and particularly of tango, through a theatrical representation. The characters of Rosita and the Thief from Tata Cedrón’s  tango “Rosita y el Ladrón” are staged and used as props for a discussion, during which paraticipants look at books, listen to music and try dance steps. A grand finale is usually organized, in the form of a contest between the children.

Kindergarten groups, primary schools and other institutions can either visit the school, or have it come to them. This class is adaptable to different groups according to the member’s ages and characteristics.
